Google's new Pixel 11 Series unveiled, powered by Google Tensor G6 and Gemini Nano AI

All models in the lineup feature a 48-megapixel main sensor, with the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL sporting a brand new sensor that enhances light sensitivity, while working with the Tensor G6 chip, an upgraded Image Signal Processor (ISP), and its latest imaging models to offer Pro Zoom at 120x.

Pixel phones have always been great when it comes to capturing photos at night or with low light, with Google noting that in addition to the improved hardware and software, Night Sight photos now capture 4.5X faster while delivering the same quality.

As for the Tensor G6 chip's performance, Google offers some specs: 25% faster browsing, 15% faster app launches, with 50% more TPU compute for running local AI - which in this case is the latest Gemini Nano model. On the AI front, the Tensor G6 offers up to 3.5x faster AI processing while also using 3.5x less energy. The Pixel 11 Series is reportedly also Google's most secure to date, with the new Titan M3 security chip working alongside the Tensor G6 chip for "post-quantum" level security.
