Unfortunately, hacker collective ShinyHunters has apparently released Rockstar Games' leaked data, potentially revealing key details about the mega-popular GTA Online. It must be noted that there is a chance that this information is incorrect.

New info from Rockstar's recent data breach may reveal how much Grand Theft Auto Online makes on a weekly basis, and the numbers are eye-opening to say the least.
According to figures compiled on the GTA Forums, Rockstar makes an average of $8.5 million in net bookings per week from spending in GTA Online, with the PlayStation 5 leading other platforms with over half of those bookings.

PS5 also has the most players insofar as weekly active users, with the platform commanding 41% of the total, or 3.47 million, surprisingly followed by the PS4, which captures about 23% of the users, or 1.88 million. The PlayStation 4 is apparently still going strong, at least when it comes to games like GTA Online.

In a 7-month period from September 2025 to March 2026, Rockstar is said to have made $193 million in bookings from GTA Online. Our compiled data shows that Rockstar made around $362 million in net revenues across this period, which corresponds to the half-year period from Q3-Q4FY25. This is entire GTA franchise revenues, though, and a quick bit of math shows that Rockstar could have made the remainder of $169 million from a combination of GTA+ and GTA game sales.

We've always known that the franchise is a massive breadwinner, with our own charted data showing that the series has generated at least $10.38 billion since GTA V's release in 2013. But now we have a more direct idea in what these numbers look like on a week-to-week basis, assuming the data is genuine.
