Tactical shooter Ready or Not has sold 1 million copies in just four days on the console market, developer Void Interactive has announced.

Ready or Not made a splash in the FPS world when it launched in 2023, and since then, the game has amassed more than 10 million total sales. The gritty shooter takes players on high-octane SWAT missions where split-second timing is critical, simulating dangerous situations like hostage negotiations and all-out firefights.
Void Interactive recently released Ready or Not on consoles, and the response has been massive to say the least, with 1 million sales in less than a week on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Considering the game is priced at $50, that's a sizable breakout performance for the independent studio. One million sales in such a short time is enviable of even AAA productions.
Ready or Not puts players into high-risk and realistic scenarios involving SWAT teams. Defuse situations involving hostages, active bomb threats, barricaded suspects, and more.
"When we launched Ready or Not on PC, it took about 36 days to reach 1 million units sold. On console, it took about 3.6 days. I'm incredibly proud of the team and what we've accomplished together. It's a huge moment - and one we don't take for granted," said VOID Interactive CEO Julio Rodriguez.
Void says that the team will continue ironing out Ready or Not's rough edges with a multitude of tweaks and updates. The game currently has a mostly positive ranking on Steam, but recent reviews are mostly negative, with only 24% of the reviews made in the last 30 days being positive.
