Tactical shooter Ready or Not is one of the fastest-selling indies of the year with millions of copies sold in less than a month.

VOID Interactive's SWAT FPS simulator Ready or Not has amassed quite a following since it launched on consoles. The game released earlier this month, and has already sold more than 2 million copies on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S--huge numbers for any indie game studio, especially VOID Interactive.
New sales data also reveals that Ready or Not is currently selling more copies than Call of Duty on consoles. At the time of writing, Ready or Not was the #2 best-seller on the PS Store, compared to Call of Duty's #6.

"2,000,000 Units on console. First, thank you to the players - for showing up, playing hard, and bringing order to chaos," VOID Interactive CEO Julio Rodriguez said on LinkedIn.
"Next, to the VOID dev team for building what we believe is the quintessential tactical FPS of our era - and to our friends and partners for helping us bring RON to console."
Ready or Not has now sold more than 11 million copies worldwide since releasing in early access on PC in 2021. Consoles make up roughly 18% of total sales, but the alacrity of Ready or Not's console sales is noteworthy; hitting 2 million in 2 weeks is a rate usually seen by major AAA games.
The game had previously sold 1 million copies in just 4 days, tacking on another 1 million just weeks later.
Independent game developer VOID Interactive will continue supporting Ready or Not with more content and updates, including new weapons, missions, bug fixes, and balance tweaks.
