The new Dell 14 Premium and Dell 16 Premium laptops have been upgraded and renamed, acting as the new flagship models in the Dell Premium series, with multiple configurations, but keeping the traditions of the XPS series and its iconic aesthetics.

The two new laptops feature 14-inch and 16-inch models, which end up being slightly bigger in screen sizes compared to their predecessors. The new Dell 14 Premium laptop features a larger 14.5-inch display, while the Dell 16 Premium features a larger 16.3-inch display while keeping to the same dimensions. The new displays feature InfinityEdge panels, offering increased immersion without the larger footprint of the laptops.

Starting with the Dell 14 Premium, which arrives in 3 different configurations, starting with the 16-core Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor, and the option of between the built-in Intel Arc GPU and the discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050. RAM and SSD configurations include 16GB + 512GB or 32GB + 1TB, but the rest of the specs and features are identical. The 14.5-inch display offers either a 2K resolution with up to 500 nits of brightness on an IPS panel at a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

Dell's new 14 Premium laptop weighs in at between 1.63kg and 1.72kg depending on the configuration, which means it's going to be incredibly lightweight for users that are on-the-go. There's a 69.5Whr battery that has up to 20 hours of battery life.

Moving onto the higher-end Dell 16 Premium laptop that has CPU options between the Core Ultra 7 255H and the higher-end flagship Core Ultra 9 285H processor.

Dell's new Dell 16 Premium laptop launches with the GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card at first, while more GPU options arrive in the weeks and months ahead that will include the Intel Arc GPU, RTX 5050, and RTX 5070 graphics options.

Now for some pricing: the new Dell 14 Premium starts at $1649 for the base edition that will give you the built-in Intel Arc GPU, 16GB of LPDDR5X memory, and 512GB SSD. Up from there, the second Dell 14 Premium configuration features the RTX 4050, 32GB of RAM, and 1TB SSD for $2249, while the 3.2K OLED option bumps the price up to $2449.

The higher-end Dell 16 Premium base configuration packs the Core Ultra 7 255H, RTX 5060, and 2K display starting at $2699, while the higher-spec version packing the Core Ultra 9 285H and RTX 5060 with the 4K OLED will cost $3049. We should expect the RTX 5070 version of the Dell 16 Premium to cost between $2700 and $3000, as there are no changes to the display.
