CD Projekt is somehow jamming the entirety of Cyberpunk 2077 onto the Nintendo Switch 2, and the devs have interesting things to say about the new console.

Nintendo released Switch 2 tech specs a bit ago, but there's still one big detail that we don't know: How much RAM the Switch 2 has. The new handheld-console hybrid is believed to have an even 12GB of LPDDRX memory. Yet Nintendo hasn't confirmed anything and it actually might not--we could have to wait for Switch 2 teardowns for that kind of info.
We do have some comments from CD Projekt RED's dedicated teams about the Switch 2's RAM/memory and storage speeds. Remember that CD Projekt managed to fit The Witcher 3 on the original Switch 1, so they're well-versed with the compromises of putting a huge RPG onto a small and rather limited handheld. Plus, since CD Projekt is also making Cyberpunk 2077 for the Switch 2, the studio is a good candidate to describe the power gaps between the Switch 1 and Switch 2.
While details are light, CD Projekt does take notice of the Switch 2's new memory and storage speeds.
In a recent interview with GameFile's Stephen Totilo, CD Projekt engineer Tim Green praised the Switch 2's new speeds and says the team didn't have to "fight" with the console's memory along the way (having to combat low-speed and low-capacity RAM is what led, in part, to the disastrous performance of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and Xbox One).
"Development still had challenges, of course, as any development process does, but we've been careful in picking tradeoffs to not compromise the game's vision.
"We haven't had to fight with fitting into memory, and the speed of the data storage has helped alleviate some of those early streaming problems. This has allowed us to focus our attention on improving other things, and we're very happy with the result."
This indicates both the size and speed of the Switch 2's RAM is adequate, alongside the newer, faster MicroSD Express storage options. The Switch 2 uses 256GB of high-performance UFS storage and supports MicroSD Express cards for external storage. The Switch 2's new Game Cards also utilize high-speed flash memory.
