Bethesda has finally confirmed the existence of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered after a leak blew the lid off the project.
The upcoming remaster was showcased in stunning detail in a new trailer livestreamed on the Bethesda Softworks YouTube channel, where viewers were able to see the incredible graphical improvements that have been made to the nearly 20-year-old title. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was released in 2006 and was one of the titles that put Bethesda on the map and paved the path for the developer/publisher to become the gigantic RPG creator it is today.
Bethesda and developer Virtuos has made a massive selection of improvements such as an overhaul on mechanics, the addition of sprinting, handcrafted assets, fluidity in motions, and much more. Bethesda confirmed at the end of its livestream that Oblivion Remastered is currently available to purchase on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation. For PC and Xbox gamers, Oblivion Remastered is currently available via Xbox Game Pass.
