TL;DR: Bethesda is officially unveiling The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, with rumors suggesting the remastered version will launch on the same day as the announcement. This highly anticipated release aims to bring enhanced graphics and gameplay to fans of the classic RPG.

It's only a matter of hours before Bethesda officially unveils The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered - what was the most unkept gaming secret of 2025 (so far).

Before Bethesda confirmed the existence of the Oblivion Remastered leaks blew the lid on the project off, spurring a rampant conversation online about the leaked images, how much the game will be when it releases, and most importantly, when it will release. The rumors following the leak that showed the remastered version compared to the original 2006 title pointed to Bethesda shadowdropping the title, meaning it would receive very little marketing, if any, before it suddenly released onto respective platforms.

A new article by MP1st has now claimed Bethesda intends to make Oblivion Remastered available to play right after the livestream, which at the time of reporting, is only 8 hours away (11AM ET / 8AM PT / 4PM BST).

The publication cites people familiar with the project that it will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on the same day it's revealed. For Xbox and PC, Oblivion Remastered will be added to the large portfolio of Game Pass titles and sold as a standalone game on PS5. Leaker eXtas1s also independently backed up this rumor.

It was only yesterday that a leaker revealed the size of Oblivion Remastered will be 120GB, per a Steam page listing. For more information on Oblivion Remastered and the timeline of leaks leading up to the official unveiling today, check out the links below.
