The folks over at SlySoft have probably just made a lot of people really happy.

They have just released version 6.4.0.0 (dated 19th March) of their AnyDVD HD software and the major update includes the option to enable or disable protection from Blu-ray discs.
HD-DVD was cracked pretty early in the piece sometime ago which allowed users to watch HD-DVD movies on their computers without using or buying a HDCP compliant graphics card and monitor. Now the same is the case for Blu-ray discs with this latest update.

Some may disagree with what SlySoft are doing and may even get angry that we are even posting about this here but all they are trying to do is promote "Fair Use" and we like that idea.
