90's kids would understand that The Simpson's was more than a formidable force on T.V during dinner time, and despite the show running for more 20 years now the classic T.V series is not done just yet.

The Simpson's are about to move into its 31st season and while it may be popular opinion that the more recent episodes in the later seasons may not stand up to the ones from the earlier seasons, the viewership is still quite high. According to GameSpot, each of the newer episodes that were released managed to pull in an audience of 7.5 million viewers across all platforms.

The announcement of The Simpson's being renewed for season 31 and 32 comes from the official Simpson's Twitter account. The post says "We've got some eeeeeexcellllent news... #TheSimpsons has been renewed for Seasons 31 and 32!". Deadline has reported that Fox secured the deal with the cast members of The Simpson's as they were more than happy to keep the show running and laughs coming. Side note - is that a Mr. Burns pun I spot in the Twitter post?
