NieR: Automata's 2B screenshotted in Soulcalibur VI HD

Following up from yesterday's post, we have a tonne of screenshots provided by Bandai Namco surrounding the recently announced addition to Soulcalibur VI. Introducing 2B from NieR: Automata in glistening HD.

Just a few days back we caught wind of a new addition to the Soulcalibur VI roster, Bandai Namco revealed 2B from the Platinum Games and Square Enix's title NieR: Automata. 2B debuted with a very cool character trailer where she went up against the not so warmly dressed Ivy. Now, Bandai has decided to release a tonne of screenshots for the android and when I say tonne there is truly a lot of them.

In the screenshots we can get a better idea of how players will be fighting as 2B and it appears that it won't be that much different from her organic combat back in NieR: Automata. From the screenshots we can see that 2B utilizes spacing to her advantage, with long swords and sweeping attacks 2B can pick and choose when she wants to get in close but still be able to deal damage from afar. She also has her pod support that will allow her to glide around her opponent and reach more advantageous positioning locations, which I'd imagine to be much faster than a typical fighter.
