Although 63% of Apple consumers are interested in buying and trying the new Apple Pencil accessory, when asked on the topic of an iPhone 6S or 6S Plus upgrade the most common answer was 'maybe'.

Only 26% of respondents said that they will be upgrading for sure, with 48% saying 'I'm not sure yet' and 26% saying certainly not. This news was coupled with 74% of respondents displaying a dislike for the new Rose Gold color with 4% saying they flat out 'hate it'.

Why an upgrade was not planned has not been asked just yet, with many users having vastly different opinions about the phones pricing, function and form. There's one thing that is certain, plenty of people want the Apple Pencil, apparently.
