It's time to dust off GTA 5 - if you want to check out the latest easter egg hint showing what GTA 6's map will look like

Grand Theft Auto 6's next trailer could be about to drop, but while the gaming rumor mill is currently buzzing with that prospect, another nugget of speculation has sneaked out whereby the GTA 6 map could have been spotted (again).

This time around it's an easter egg tucked away in Grand Theft Auto 5, one that was uncovered by a keen-eyed Redditor (see above) as The Gamer reports.

That Redditor discovered a painting hanging in a building in GTA 5 which has a highlighted green blob in the middle of it. At first glance, it just looks like some kind of abstract artwork, but if you examine the shape carefully, it resembles the carefully constructed fan-made map of GTA 6.

A stretch? Well, maybe, but plenty of gamers on that Reddit thread are fairly convinced this is a heavy hint at the shape of things to come with the world of GTA 6.

This seems more likely given that this episode mirrors a previous sighting of a similar painting in the Kortz Center Heist in GTA Online.

In other words, it seems like Rockstar is doubling down on these leaks to tease GTA 6. The question is whether it's acknowledging that the fan-made approximation of the GTA 6 map is very accurate, or whether Rockstar is just fanning the rumor flames for fun.
