Ubisoft today announced its earnings results for FY2026, and nestled in the report is an update on its upcoming release plans. The company recently went through a hefty reorganization largely funded by a big $1.2 billion investment from Tencent that resulted in a restructuring of its business into units called Creative Houses.

The biggest of these groups, a subsidiary called Vantage Studios, handles Ubisoft's largest, most prestige brands: Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Ghost Recon. It's now been revealed that Ubisoft plans to have new games in all of these franchises released by March 2029, coinciding with a significant boost in positive free cash flow--a critical metric of success for any company.

"Ubisoft expects a significantly stronger and diversified content pipeline over FY2027-28 and FY2028-29, supported by releases across its major brands, including Assassin's Creed, Far Cry and Ghost Recon as well as an acceleration of its Live services driven by Rainbow Six Siege," the company wrote in the report.

"This roadmap reflects the Group's continued focus on building sustainable evergreen ecosystems, strengthening release regularity, and delivering high-quality experiences across multiple player segments."

While it's developing these products, Ubisoft is also conducting more cost-cutting measures in a bid to stay disciplined and reap higher cash flows in later years. Records show that the company's headcount has been reduced by 1,200 people, coinciding with major layoffs and the recent reorganizations within the Creative Houses. Ubisoft also recently also cancelled multiple new projects in what the group described as a "total portfolio reset," including the anticipated Prince of Persia remake.

Ubisoft has yet to announce or confirm any new major games in these three franchises, but that could change with a premiere or two during its summer-timed gaming showcase.
