MSI is set to introduce a special edition red version of its Wind U100 netbook on November 29th for the beginning of the famous IT Month here in Taiwan.

IT Month is a event held in the island's largest cities where consumers can pickup bargains on anything from netbooks all the way to flash memory.

Prices are slashed by insane percentages, sometimes up to 80% off - as we saw last year. Trade show halls are packed to the rafters with local crowds looking to pick up their next notebook on the cheap. Wait, that was me last year.

When the Wind Netbook was released earlier this year, it took the market by storm and delivered exactly what many users wanted in mobile computing. The new Cherry Red U100 symbolizes passion and nobility. When you carry it with you, you will feel energized all day long and become the center of attraction. Weighing just 1kg, the U100 has a 10" widescreen display, 160GB of storage, a long-life 6-cell battery as well as support for 802.11 b/g/n wireless networking and Bluetooth interface. These together with the large keyboard make the U100 the best choice for mobility.
