NVIDIA's RTX 5050 is apparently on sale, with one graphics card maker informing us that these desktop GPUs are now on shelves.
This is Inno3D which posted on X (as spotted by VideoCardz) to say that its various models of the RTX 5050 (Twin X2, OC, and Compact) are available and that you only need to 'reach out to your local retailers today.'
The problem being that there's no inventory actually showing in the retailers that Inno3D links to as its official stockists, as far as we can see - which is Newegg in the US.
Granted, that could be because while RTX 5050 boards are available in Asia right now, they aren't quite out yet in other regions. So, we could see stock filter in later today, or perhaps later this week.
Given the post on X, Inno3D is certainly making it seem like stock should be on shelves imminently.
If you're thinking that NVIDIA said the RTX 5050 won't arrive until later in July, that's true, but a rumor emerged yesterday that Team Green may be sticking to the originally theorized release date (July 1) in at least some cases.
Nothing's certain by any means, but if you're keen to pick up this budget GPU, it's worth keeping your eyes peeled.
There are RTX 5050 graphics cards from ASUS and Zotac live on Newegg, but with no stock currently, though that could change. They are priced up, and there are two models at the MSRP of $249, which is good to see. As ever, you'll pay a slight premium for the overclocked variants.
As for the MSI Gaming RTX 5050 8G Shadow 2X that was supposed to go live today on Amazon, that's listed as currently unavailable - though it's possible it went on sale, and quickly sold out, but that isn't a likely scenario to be honest.
Meanwhile, no reviews of the RTX 5050 have been sighted yet, a somewhat ominous sign.
