NVIDIA formally announced the new desktop GeForce RTX 5050 gaming GPU yesterday, which will launch in the second half of July, starting from $249. As an entry-level RTX Blackwell GPU, it's being positioned as a successor to the GeForce RTX 3050. It offers 60% faster performance on average and supports the latest DLSS 4 suite of technologies, including Multi-Frame Generation.

With no Founder Edition model on the way, we've got our first look at GeForce RTX 5050 cards and models on the way from some of NVIDIA's biggest partners - ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE, ZOTAC, INNO3D, and COLORFUL.
Kicking things off with ASUS, the company is set to launch four GeForce RTX 5050 models, including PRIME and two DUAL variants. The triple-fan PRIME models include an aluminium fin-stack heatsink and ASUS's Axial-Tech fans. The OC variant pushes the Boost Clock speed to 2707 MHz, a sizable increase over the 2572 MHz reference spec.

Next up, we've got MSI, and so far, we've only heard of a single model coming - the MSI GeForce RTX 5050 Shadow 2X OC graphics card with a Boost Clock speed of 2602 MHz. Like ASUS's models, you've got an aluminium fin-stack heatsink with a pair of MSI's TorX 5.0 fans. MSI's Shadow design represents some of the company's most affordable GPUs, so we expect this one to launch at a price close to the $249 MSRP.

GIGABYTE has announced three GeForce RTX 5050 models: the GeForce RTX 5050 GAMING OC 8G, the GeForce RTX 5050 WINDFORCE OC 8G, and the GeForce RTX 5050 OC Low Profile 8G. The low-profile model is designed for compact builds and has three smaller fans and a smaller heatsink for the 130W GPU.

ZOTAC has four GeForce RTX 5050 models, including the compact Zotac GeForce RTX 5050 Solo with a single fan, ZOTAC GeForce RTX 5050 Twin Edge and Twin Edge OC variants, and a GeForce RTX 5050 Twin Edge OC White Edition. The OC models will ship with an out-of-the-box Boost Clock speed of 2602 MHz.

INNO3D is next, introducing three models: the INNO3D GeForce RTX 5050 TWIN X2 and TWIN X2 OC, and the INNO3D GeForce RTX 5050 COMPACT. The COMPACT variant sports a streamlined cooling solution with a single fan, perfect for Mini-ITX builds.

Rounding out the list is COLORFUL, which is living up to its name with GeForce RTX 5050 models in its iGame Ultra, Colorfire Meow, and Colorful Battle AX series. The iGame Ultra and Battle AX variants are set to arrive in both dual and three-fan options and will be OC models.
