The folks at G.SKILL don't sleep, releasing memory kit after memory kit, and today we have the introduction of the new Trident Z5 NEO RGB hitting 8400 MT/s speeds... but in a deliciously high-capacity 128GB kit of RAM.

G.SKILL nailed the high-end frequencies on single DDR5 modules, but now the company is showing off some blazing-fast Trident Z5 NEO RGB memory with a huge 128GB high-capacity kit but at 8400 MT/s speeds. We have been seeing speeds in higher 24GB and 32GB modules, and we know how hard it is to push 8000+ MT/s speeds in dual-DIMM configurations, so G.SKILL has been cooking here.
G.SKILL reached those huge DDR5-8400+ speeds on the ASUS ROG X870E APEXmotherbaord, with the flagship AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor. The large-capacity 128GB of RAM at 8400 MT/s speeds was achieved on CL44-58-58-94.

G.SKILL explains: "This extreme overclock achievement showcases G.SKILL's continued advancement in pushing DDR5 memory to new limits. While high-frequency memory kits have traditionally been limited to lower module capacities, this latest demonstration demonstrates that enthusiasts and professionals can now harness both blazing-fast speeds and massive memory capacity in a single kit. It provides an ideal choice for AI model development, high-resolution content creation, machine learning, and other professional workloads that demand both large memory pools and rapid memory data speeds".
