AMD's RX 9060 XT graphics cards might be going on sale as soon as May 18, somewhat earlier than the timeframe the rumor mill has previously forecast for the release date.

If you recall that previous buzz on the grapevine, it claimed that AMD was looking at a Computex reveal (the show starts on May 20) for the RX 9060 XT GPUs (8GB and 16GB models), followed by a release in June.
That may well have been true at the time it was reported, and indeed the new rumor - coming from the Board Channels over in China (via VideoCardz) - insists that AMD was indeed planning this. However, apparently Team Red has now brought forward the release to May 18.
VideoCardz seems to cast some doubt over whether May 18 might still be a launch date (rather than an on-sale date), but we think it's pretty clear it means the latter (even given potential translation issues from Chinese here).
Of course, this is still just speculation, but if May 18 is when the RX 9060 XT graphics cards will hit the shelves, then we might have an announcement combined with a release - or an initial reveal early in May.
The post also mentions the RX 9070 GRE, another rumored inbound model for the RDNA 4 range, which was supposedly due to arrive on May 8 over in Asia. We're told that this has been postponed, and by a long way - supposedly to the end of 2025 (Q4 is now mentioned as the timeframe, albeit before the November 11 sales).
Quite why that GPU might be pushed back so far - essentially half a year - isn't clear, although if we had to guess, two words spring to mind: supply issues.
