Endorfy, with which we have worked in the past, reviewing their cases, AIOs, and CPU coolers, has sent over another one of their products: the Supremo FM6 1000W ATX 3.1 PSU. MSRP pricing places the Supremo FM6 at €150, so I can assume it's not yet for sale in the US. So, why don't we take a look around, as well as inside the Supremo FM6, and see how she ticks? Let's go.

Packaging

Endorfy has packaged the Supremo FM6 in a standard brown cardboard box, with various literature displayed prominently on the outside.

The backside of the packaging displays all the cables, their lengths, and the various types of connections. Also listed are the power current capacity in both DC and AC output.

Endorfy has also listed all the protections included on the Supremo FM6.

Endorfy has packaged the Supremo FM6 and all its cables within the cardboard enclosure.

And with all the cabling laid out, we can see that Endorfy has added some visual flair to the motherboard/GPU side of the connections with a gray plug instead of the standard black. Additionally, Endorfy sent over a EU 2-prong style power cable; however, I believe I can obtain a C13 cable that will work as well.

Now let's take a closer look at the 12VHPWR/12V 2x6 cable. I find it quite interesting that '600W' is printed on the outside; however, there are only two sense pins, making 600 watts impossible.

Now we get to the Supremo FM6 itself. With its all-black design, the fan grill brings back memories of yesteryear for me. Having a separate fan grill instead of the integrated ones that most modern PSUs feature is somewhat nostalgic.

The cable input section of the Supremo FM6 displays grayed-out inputs, except for the 12V-2x6 connector. Take note that there are four sense pins. Everything is clearly labeled and is laid out well.

Going around to the side of the Supremo FM6, we can see the Endorfy logo stamped into the steel here. Subtle, but tasteful.

The rear of the Supremo FM6 shows a power rocker switch, C13 cable input, and some rear ventilation. Endorfy has also included a sticker with the 80 PLUS Gold certification, as well as a QR code for users to access more information.

The bottom of the Supremo FM6 displays the same power current information as on the outside packaging, along with an additional QR code for users to scan with their smartphone.

Now, let's move on to the internal fan, which is the Endorfy Fluctus 10-1037 fluid dynamic bearing 120mm fan. It's nice to see a company that combines its product lines into other products it manufactures. This attention to detail demonstrates that they have confidence in their work. I love it.

Now, let's examine the components of the Supremo FM6. We can see an overhead view. Relatively compact, the Supremo FM6 packs 1000W in an OEM design by SAMA.

Here, we have the input transient filtering stage, which consists of six Y caps, three X caps, and two CM chokes.

The single capacitor, which the Japanese capacitor company Nichicon manufactures. Having a total capacity of 1,000uF at 400V, while running at 2,000h @ 105°C.

The main transformer, located near the Nichicon capacitor, is understated for a 1000W unit.

Here we have the PFC for the Supremo FM6 1000w, which looks to be on the low end, but I bet it gets the job done.

Lastly, there are two DC-DC converter sections, which are nicely laid out on their daughterboard.

Final Thoughts

Using the PSU test bench for this review, the Ryzen 9 7950X CPU was set to 1.296V vcore to maintain a clock speed above 5GHz. The 16-core, 32-threaded CPU maintained a clock speed of over 5.3GHz during the test period, while the wattage reached a maximum of 170.86 watts but averaged approximately 142.18 watts. The AM5 motherboard used in this test was the B650 AORUS Elite AX from GIGABYTE, while the test RAM was from Patriot Memory, specifically the Viper Venom, which operates its EXPO profile at DDR5-5600M/t.
The NVIDIA RTX 3090 FE test GPU was power-limited to 65% via the NVIDIA App to control the GPU wattage. On average, the NVIDIA RTX 3090 FE drew approximately 226.65 watts; however, it reached a peak of 229.96 watts. The power drawn from the wall was measured using a Killawatt P3 digital electrical usage monitor, which read the total system wattage. During testing, the wattage ranged from 497 to 503 watts, with an average usage of 500 watts.
All testing was completed using Aida64 Engineer's System Stability Test version 7.60.7000 for over 13 hours, with an ambient temperature of 23 °C. Other monitoring software used was HWiNFO64 v8.16-5600, TechPowerUp GPU-Z v2.66.0, and CPU-Z 2.16.0.x64.

Wrapping up our review of Endorfy's Supremo FM6 1000W ATX 3.1 PSU, we can conclude that it is a fairly mediocre offering; however, it can hold its own against slightly more expensive PSUs in the same wattage class. Pricing is generally competitive across the board, and efficiency and operational performance were also notable highlights. Endorfy's Fluctus 120mm fan delivers excellent performance for an FDB fan. Overall, the Supremo FM6 is just another black PSU that offers stable performance at a decent price.
