Sydney, 23 July 2008 - Delivering greater choice and flexibility in mobile computing solutions for all budgets, Toshiba (Australia) Pty Limited Information Systems Division (ISD) today launched its latest range of new look and feel, high-powered business notebooks with Intel® Centrino®2 technology.

Suitable for even the most dynamic work environments and boasting improved wireless capabilities and the latest graphics and performance enhancements, the business range includes new lighter Tecra models, a refreshed Satellite Pro series and two new Portege models. Toshiba also incorporates another world-first into the Portege range with the introduction of the ultra-portable Portege R500 128GB Solid State Drive (SSD) edition with built in 3G - making it still the world's lightest fully-featured notebook.
