As a Nintendo Switch user I'd definitely appreciate if I had the ability to be able to play Borderlands anywhere I wanted. The idea of having access to the looter whenever and where ever I want is definitely a big enough reason for me to re-buy the games.

This isn't the first time Borderlands being brought to the Switch has been brought up, as Gearbox Software boss Randy Pitchford once answered a fan reply saying that he "would love" to bring Borderlands to the handheld console. Since then it has been speculated whether or not the console could handle the title, and what kind of graphical downgrades it would have to undertake to see it run stable.

No announcements came for a Switch version, even after the release of Borderlands 3, but then during an interview on The Borderlands Show, Creative Director Paul Sage told Greg Miller, to "never say never". Could this mean that Gearbox Software are considering bringing the looter shooter over to Nintendo's console? Possibly, I could say positively that the company has considered the idea and when it would be possible for them to make it support the Switch, or if to hand it over to a porting company such as Panic Button.

So far that is all the news we have on Borderlands for the Switch, if we are to get an announcement at anytime I'd guess around Christmas sales. Imagine a Handsome Collection Christmas themed sale on the Switch....
