EA and DICE didn't have the greatest trailer to Battlefield V before it launched, but it seems like they've worked things out for the huge release of Firestorm, the new battle royal injection into the Frostbite-powered FPS.

The new teaser trailer to Firestorm is made as a cinematic within the game's engine, but DICE decided to not show any gameplay which is super disappointing. Still, the trailer is energetic with 'Burning Down The House' playing in the background from the legendary Tom Jones.

EA has confirmed that Firestorm will launch on March 25 with large 64-player matches in both solo and 4-player teams. The incredible Frostbite engine powers it all, with massively destructible environments that will mark a well-needed change in battle royale games for increased mayhem and immersion.

Apex Legends has been great so far, so Firestorm will provide me with a reason to stop playing it temporarily to try Battlefield V once again.
