The other big milestone for Windows 10 is that it has the highest customer satisfaction in the history of Windows, something underlined by Microsoft Corporate VP of Modern Life & Devices Yusuf Mehdi. Mehdi tweeted: "Thank you to all our customers and partners for helping us achieve 800 million #Windows10 devices and the highest customer satisfaction in the history of Windows".

Microsoft predicted it would have 1 billion users with Windows 10 within 2-3 years, but it hasn't quite hit that peak yet. However, Windows 7 is about to die finally and that should see Windows 10 adoption skyrocket.
