Origin's new EON gaming laptop rocks Core i9 CPU, GTX 1070

Origin announces EON15-S and EVO17-S, can be configured with Core i9 processor, GTX 1070 graphics.

Origin PC has just announced two new laptops that are made for gamers, streamers, and everyone in between: we have the EON15-S and EVO17-S, depending on your needs.

The EON15-S is under 1-inch thick and only 3.4 pounds, with a hybrid mechanical keyboard that features individual key lighting, and can pack up to the Intel Core i9-8950HK (6C/12T) processor. Origin also uses an all-in, intuitive battery saving feature that provides up to 8 hours of casual use on the EON15-S with a single press of the button.

Inside, the new Origin EON15-S can pack the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, with a 15.6-inch 1080p IPS display, up to 32GB of DDR4-2666MHz RAM, 2 x M.2 SSDs for storage, and Origin's own custom HD UV printing.

The larger EVO17-S from Origin is also less than 1-inch thick and under 6.6 pounds, where it can also pack Intel's impressive Core i9-8950HK processor. The screen gets bumped up to a larger 17.3-inch panel in either 1080p 144Hz G-Sync, or 4K 60Hz G-Sync depending on your needs.

Inside, we have an upgraded GeForce GTX 1070 desktop-class GPU, the same support for 32GB DDR4-2666MHz, 2 x M.2 SSDs, and even a 2.5-inch storage SSD.
