The stunning initial success of 'Fate of the Furious' has apparently helped to settle the long-standing feud between stars Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Vin Diesel which spilled out onto social media last year.
According to TMZ, both stars have now signed up for two more 'Fast and Furious' outings, burying the hatchet which saw Johnson lambast his co-star and 'Fate of the Furious' producer Vin Diesel as a "Candy-ass", to which Diesel rather ominously stated that he "protected Dwayne more than he'll ever know". TMZ's unnamed sources say the stars have met privately a number of times and agreed to put the animosity behind them.
This will be music to Universal Studios ears considering that in less than a week, the latest entry in the series 'The Fate of the Furious' has grossed over half a billion at the worldwide box office, exceeding even the loftiest of expectations. The series has earnt the studio nearly $4.5b in revenue since 2001.
