The Hyperloop system could become a reality in at least one country by 2020. The first test of this system was carried out in May in Nevada when the capsule reached a speed of 1,200 kilometers per hour.

If you are curious what it feels like to ride the Hyperloop, now you can - in virtual reality.

SpaceX published a video on their YouTube channel showing a demonstration pod and tube being tested on a short track.

You can watch the video using Google Chrome or the Jaunt VR app, which supports Samsung Gear VR, Google Daydream, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift.

The footage probably isn't quite what you would have expected from the Hyperloop, but this is still a testing phase, and far from a finished system.
