Seagate and LaCie showed off a huge 8TB external HDD powered by USB-C, so if you have USB-C on your PC or Mac, you can enjoy the new connectivity standard. The new LaCie Porsche Design external HDDs come in 4TB, 5TB and 8TB capacities, for all data needs - be it backups of your important data, photos, business files, or even your Steam directory.
All you'll need to do is use a single USB-C cable, and that's enough to power the entire drive and provide data transfer. As for pricing, LaCie Porsche Design Desktop Drive arrives in 4TB from $209.95, with no pricing provided on the 5TB and 8TB drives just yet.
