Apple's MacBook Neo shook up the budget laptop market when it launched earlier this year, and Windows manufacturers have been scrambling to respond ever since. Lenovo appears to be next in line, with leaked renders obtained by Windows Latest showing an unannounced laptop called the IdeaPad Vibe.
Lenovo's attempt is positioned directly against the MacBook Neo in both price and personality, and you can see that in the IdeaPad Vibe's colour options. Seven of them are reportedly planned: blush pink, bright yellow, terracotta orange-brown, sage green, navy blue, silver, and mint teal.

Each has a matching Lenovo logo on the lid, while the keyboard deck stays dark grey across all variants. Unlike the MacBook Neo's four colour options, Lenovo is going much wider here, which makes sense given how much the Neo's colourful design has contributed to its appeal among students.
Of course, the colour options are not the only area where Lenovo is going further. The MacBook Neo ships with two USB-C ports and a headphone jack, and that's it. The IdeaPad Vibe appears to offer two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, HDMI, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microSD card slot. Two hardware variants are reportedly planned, with one built around a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip and another using an AMD processor. Exact models have not been disclosed.

What we do know is that a 2027 MacBook Neo refresh is already in the works, reportedly bringing the A19 Pro chip and a 50% memory increase from 8GB to 12GB. That gives Lenovo a relatively small window to challenge the Neo before Apple gives it another upgrade.
