MindsEye has finally had a rather large 6-minute introduction to the game which you can check out below, from developer Build a Rocket Boy, with the founder of the new studio an ex-former producer of Rockstar who worked on the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
In the video above, we get a look at MindEye's gameplay, details of its expansive story, and some teases of the post-launch content coming from the developer, as well as the all-out PC version of the game that has level-creation tools that allow players to create pretty much "anything" they want.
The PC version of MindsEye gives gamers access to all of the game's assets, which allows players to create "anything" their imagination can come up with, as the developer is "passionate about democratizing video game development". Sounds like a huge step towards what we can expect from GTA 6 in 2026, but dropping on June 10.
Some of the gameplay footage looks a bit janky, and that's with MindsEye running on a PC (we don't know the specifications inside) so here's hoping there's a ton of optimization between now and launch, because there's some real sludgy frame rates in that footage.

Build a Rocket Boy says that MindsEye will launch with its single-player campaign with multiple different gameplay scenarios which will be launched into the game later in the summer, fall, and winter. It's shaping up to be interesting, to say the least.
Leslie Benzies is the former producer of Rockstar who worked directly on the mammoth Grand Theft Auto franchise starting with GTA 3, and is now the founder of MindsEye developer Build a Rocket Boy, where in a press release she said: "We're beyond excited to bring MindsEye to players worldwide".
Benzies continued: "Our team has poured their passion and dedication into creating MindsEye and the Game Creation System for almost a decade, to deliver players an unforgettable story campaign and empower them to craft their own world-class experiences. Continuous updates and fresh new content from our studio ensure MindsEye is an endless adventure".
