QD-OLED gaming monitors are getting much cheaper compared to when they first entered the market, and an example of that is MSI's newly unveiled MAG 272QPW QD-OLED X28, a 27-inch 1440p 280Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms (GtG) response time display for $599.

While still being on the higher end of the gaming monitor pricing pool, the price has dropped considerably since the technology was first introduced, and MSI has informed me they are setting out to provide as many options as possible to get the incredible QD-OLED technology in as many gamers' hands as possible.
The MAG 272QPW QD-OLED X28 is intended to be a more affordable option for gamers who don't need a crazy 360Hz or even 500Hz refresh rate, but still want a healthy number of frames on their screen every second. The MAG 272QPW QD-OLED X28 features an array of connectivity options, with 2x HDMI 2.1 inputs, 1x Displayport 1.4a, and 1x USB-C port w/ 15W PD charging. MSi informed me at Computex 2025, where this monitor was showcased, that it will be launching for an MSRP of $599 extremely soon, on June 8, 2025.
