TL;DR: Oblivion Remastered offers a full visual overhaul while preserving original charm, including glitches and Todd Howard’s unique character voice. By entering a console command, players access a developer test area featuring Alban Corinis, whose voiced responses reflect player interaction, culminating in a rare Todd Howard love confession.

Oblivion Remastered, while being a complete visual overhaul of the original game, still retains much of the original game's charm, released in 2006. Included in that old charm are glitches, exploits, and a character voice by Bethesda's own Todd Howard.

That character can be found in Oblivion Remastered, and if you interact with it in the right way enough times it will profess its love for you with the voice of Howard. The character Howard voices isn't roaming around the world and requires you to enter the following command into the console. Here's how to do it.

Steps:

  1. Press the "~"
  2. Type - coc toddtest
  3. Press enter

After performing those steps, you will be transported to a small house. This house was used by developers to test various characters/items in an isolated environment before they were placed into the wider world. Within the room, you will find a character called Alban Corinis who is wearing a full set of Elven armor. Speaking to Corinis will trigger the following voice line, which isn't in Howard's voice: "I knew one day someone with unyielding virtue would heed my words and speed my release. You risked much to perform such a selfless act."

After this line, you will be presented with the following options to respond: Angry, Fear, Happy, Neutral, Sad, and Surprise. Selecting any of these options will trigger a response from Corinis in the respective tone. Selecting Angry will trigger an Angry response, Happy a happy response, and so on and so forth. Each of these responses is voiced by Howard himself and linked to the character disposition mechanic, which is how a character feels about the player's character.

Selecting the "Happy" response enough times and then selecting the "Neutral" response will cause Corinis to say the following, "I can't recall ever loving moments, like this moment, with you," but in the voice of Todd Howard.
