Computex 2019 - FSP had what I thought were two of the best modded PCs on show at Computex 2019, in amongst a bunch of PSUs that the company is better known for.

Just look at this, it's utterly gorgeous. The modded PC is split into two: the PC below with its Dagger Pro PSU and Bitspower watercooling products, while the top layer is a place of Zen. The attention to detail is beautiful.

See what I mean? The touches on the tiles on the roof or the trees and grass and even individual steps.

Jak Connor | Gaming | Jun 4, 2019 2:00 AM CDT

Age of Empires fans can rejoice today as Microsoft have announced that there will be cross-play support between Steam and the Microsoft Store for the trilogy of Age of Empires Definitive Editions.

Age of Empires I/II/III: Definitive Editions cross to Steam

Age of Empires fans have been waiting for an announcement by Microsoft for quite some time now. Originally, there was meant to be an announcement at the Inside Xbox livestream, but that announcement was pulled and postponed to what now seems to be E3 2019. To tie fans over and build that hype up a little bit, Microsoft has decided to announce that the Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition and the Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition will be coming to Steam when they launch.

According to the blog post on the Age of Empires website, players will be able to "enjoy these games no matter where you play", and that "by releasing Age of Empires I, II, and III: Definitive Editions to Steam, we are letting you, our fans, decide where you want to play, explore, and create new experiences with our games." The blog post finishes up by saying that more information will soon be released on the Steam cross-play support, most likely at the E3 2019 keynote on Sunday, June 9.

Computex 2019 - Raijintek was a big surprise this year with the amount of time and effort the company has been putting into its products, with that effort being shown off at Computex 2019 with a great array of RGB-powered products and sleek, efficient cooling products.

One of the most glorious things on display at the Raijintek booth was a collaboration build with MonstarGear.

I mean, check this bad boy out. Every detail is perfect, and those RGB lights look amazing throughout.

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is playable at E3 2019

Jak Connor | Gaming | Jun 4, 2019 1:00 AM CDT

Finally we have an official announcement out from Microsoft regarding the existence of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, and what better place for it to be playable than E3 2019?

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is playable at E3 2019

Microsoft has taken to both their official Twitter page for Age of Empires, and the official website to announce that the Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition will be playable at this years E3. To accompany the announcement, Microsoft has said that on Sunday, June 9th they will be holding their own keynote at E3 where they will be "on the floor with Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition!".

Looking more closely at the announcement on the website, Kevin VanderMeer mentions that "Attendees will be able to experience stunning 4K Ultra HD graphics, a new, fully remastered soundtrack, and 4 new civilizations during an on-hands demo of the game." Now will these be 4 additional new civilizations? or will these just be the ones that are in the HD version of the game right now? If I was to take a guess, I would say that these are 4 new additional civilizations as this will give fans more of a reason to pick up the game.

AMD teams with Samsung for graphics IP and patent license

Anthony Garreffa | Video Cards & GPUs | Jun 3, 2019 10:28 PM CDT

AMD has just inked a new deal with Samsung where the two companies are entering a new multi-year strategic partnership with the smartphone giant gaining access to AMD's large range of patents and IP in video and graphics accelerators.

AMD teams with Samsung for graphics IP and patent license

Samsung's own LSI division, the part of the company that handles chip design and fabrication is contracting with AMD to use its new Navi-based RDNA architecture to build its future mobile GPUs for next-gen smartphones and other mobile devices. The companies didn't go into depth about what this relationship will entail when it comes to the future of mobile GPUs, but this is seriously exciting news.

It means that Radeon technology, and possibly even the Navi GPU architecture, is scalable enough to go right down into mobile with this new RDNA architecture. As well as up into Radeon RX 5700 series and hopefully even higher with next-gen Navi in 2020 and beyond.

Corsair changes the entire cooling game at Computex 2019

Anthony Garreffa | Cases, Cooling & PSU | Jun 3, 2019 9:47 PM CDT

Computex 2019 - Corsair, I know you're listening -- you killed it at Computex. If there was a 'favorite' cooling company, you are it. Every show you blow my mind and this year more than ever. There is a lot to go through, but we'll cover the basics of what they unveiled at the show and some nice pics in between.

Corsair changes the entire cooling game at Computex 2019

Corsair unveiled its new Hydro X initiative makes building a watercooled PC easier than ever before, with it holding your hand and walking you through the entire process in a super-slick interface. Corsair walked us through it in their suite, where even for me -- an enthusiast who isn't into watercooling, want to actually build a watercooled rig because this takes so much of the work out of it.

The new Corsair Hydro X custom cooling configurator will let you tell it your PC specs (things like your CPU, GPU, the case you have) and then work out the measurements for you and start preparing what it will recommend. Not every one of their cases or their competitors' cases are supported, with Corsair saying that around 85% of their own cases, and around 40% of their competitors cases are supported.

Anthony Garreffa | Computer Systems | Jun 3, 2019 8:56 PM CDT

Apple has just unveiled its new Mac Pro and holy balls it is a beast when fully-specced. The bare minimum Mac Pro will begin at an already high price of $6000, but the company was mum on the highest-end specs of its new PC.

Apple best-specced Mac Pro could cost up to $50,000

The base model Mac Pro includes up to a 28-core Intel CPU and support for up to a huge 1.5TB of RAM (12 x 128GB DIMMs) as well as the world's most powerful graphics card courtesy of AMD in the new Radeon Pro Vega II. It is one of the most amazing PCs ever built, and that is coming from someone like me who is quite anti-Mac and super-enthusiast. Holy balls this PC is amazing though, there's no doubt about it.

Let's break it down into its specs:
