CyberPower's new Power Video series includes three models: the XE, XT and high-performance XI, all of which can be fully custom- configured. The Power Video series is designed to fit everyone's needs; from students to designers, scientists, engineers, videographers, and other technical professionals.

All Power Video series feature the Intel's multi-core processor technology and nVidia or ATi graphics solutions; 4GB, 8GB, or 16GB of DDR2 or DDR3 memory to handle your most demanding applications including editing and rendering on DV, HDV MPEG-2 and MPEG-4, and AVCHD videos; high capacity SATA-II hard drives and/or optional RAID-0/1/5/10 hard drive arrays for enhancing data transfer; and optional Blu-Ray high definition video burners for HD video distribution.

Standard features on each model include IEEE 1394 (DV iLink) and USB ports for easy capture of images from digital camcorders including digital tapeless AVCHD (Advanced Video Codec High Definition) camcorders, a high-speed, multi-format media card reader for solid state flash memory camcorder video transfers, support for 8.5 Dual-Layer DVD burning capability, and Asetek's Liquid CPU Cooling System for efficient heat dissipation.

The standard configuration on the Power Video XE includes: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 at 2.4GHz, 1066FSB, 8MB L2 Cache 64-bit; NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 16X PCI Express video card; 500GB SATA-II 7200RPM hard drive; 20X DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW dual layer optical drive; 16X DVD ROM, and onboard 5.1 sound card. Other standard features include a wireless 802.11B/G network card. Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium w/ Service Pack 1 (32-bit Edition) is pre-loaded. Price of this configuration is $985.

The mid-range Power Video XT features Intel's Quad-Core 2 Quad Q9550 CPU at 2.83GHz 1333FSB, and 12MB L2 Cache 64-bit mounted to an Intel P45 Chipset motherboard w/GbLAN, USB2.0, IEEE1394, and 7.1 audio.

The Power Video XT includes 8GB (4x2GB) PC6400 DDR2/800 Dual Channel Memory and an ATI Radeon HD 4850 PCI-E 16X 512MB video card. Storage includes a one terabyte, SATA-II 3.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM hard drive; LG GGW-H20L 6X Internal super multi Blu-Ray disc rewriter and HD DVD-ROM drive, and a Sony Optiarc BR-5100S 2X Blu-Ray Player. Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium w/ Service Pack 1 (32-bit Edition) is pre-loaded. Configuration at this price is $1675.

The pro-model Power Video XI includes a Cooler Master Cosmos Silent Chassis w/ an 800 Watt Power Supply. This new case design houses Intel's new Core2 i7-940 CPU at 2.93 GHz, which is mounted to a Intel X58 Chipset SLI/CrossFireX mainboard with support for Triple-Channel DDR3/1600, SATA RAID w/ eSATA, Dual GbLAN, USB2.0, IEEE1394a, and 7.1 audio. CyberPower beefs up its pro model with 12GBs of DDR3 Triple Channel Memory and an ATI Radeon HD 4870 PCI-E 16X 512MB DDR5 video card.

You will never run out of storage with the Power Video XI. It includes a pair of one terabyte SATA II hard drives and a 64 BG 2.5-inch SATA Solid State Disk. Standard optical drives include LG's GGW-H20L 6X Internal Super Multi Blu-Ray Disc Rewriter & HD DVD-ROM drive and a Sony Optiarc BR-5100S 2X Blu-Ray Player.

Wireless and networking capabilities include onboard 10/100 network card, and a PCI Wireless 802.11B/G Network Card. Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium w/ Service Pack 1 (64-bit Edition) is pre-loaded. Price of this Power Video XI configuration is $2719.
