Ever since Mark Hamill tweeted, then promptly removed the tweet, proposing that viewers watch Monday Night Football on October 9 for 'no reason in particular', rumors have been circulating of when Lucasfilm would release a new trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It appears as if Hamill was indeed correct, Lucasfilm have confirmed that the trailer will air during Monday Night Football.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer will air during the halftime break during the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears game in Chicago.
