Thermaltake recently invited twelve extremely talented case-modders, from twelve different countries (Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Philippines, Russia, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the United States) to participate in Thermaltake's 2017 Thermaltake CaseMOD Invitational Season 1. With a prize-pool featuring $15,000USD, there is plenty of motivation for these modders to display their craft.
Contestants were required to use an array of Thermaltake products (obviously), including The Tower 900 E-ATX Vertical Super Tower Chassis, Toughpower Grand RGB 850W Gold fully modular power supply, Tt Certified liquid cooling components and an unlimited selection of other Thermaltake products to transform their build.
The scoring was categorized on three aspects of the participant's build, originality, style (inside and out) and LCS loop. Community voting was allocated 25%, with 25% by Thermaltake, 25% by expert modders, and 25% by sponsors, to help the panel of judges declare a winner.
1st Place
Von Carlo Rasonabe-Known as Reapervon, has previously displayed his projects in ASUS events and Computex Taipei. Drawing inspiration from Mecha, he was able to mod The Tower 900 into a stunning creation Tt X ROG Mechanicore and claim 1st place.
2nd Place
Chaipoj Khaowasut- From Thailand, Chaipoj is uses a unique approach to his modding, designing his builds by using Photoshop, AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, Illustrator and CNC Laser machine. Creating the mod with the concept "Future Engine", Chaipoj Khaowasut has presented to the world TT Turbocharger 900.
3rd Place
Mhike Samsin A full-time modders from the Philippines, Mhike began PC modification from around 2005. Mhike showcased his talents in modifying The Tower 900 into an astonishing T-900 SCARAV build.
