Computex 2017 - AMD just detailed their new HEDT processor range with ThreadRipper, and now we have ASRock with their upcoming X399 Taichi motherboard.
As you can see the CPU socket itself is freakin' huge, with 8 x DDR4 DIMMs in total.
The gear-like chipset heat sink looks great, while there's plenty of PCIe slots to keep multi-GPU fans like myself happy.
Intel is being a bit nasty here, with a massive Intel logo on the board as they have their GbE network controller on the ASRock X399 Taichi, something I'm sure AMD isn't so happy about.
