He went up against 'The Terminator', took on 'Aliens', chased a 'Twister' and even went down to the real-life 'Titanic', but today we say goodbye to legendary character actor Bill Paxton.
Director James Cameron, who cast Paxton in many of his films released a statement on their 36 year long "friendship of laughter, adventure, love of cinema, and mutual respect friendship of laughter, adventure, love of cinema, and mutual respect... The world is a lesser place for his passing, and I will profoundly miss him." Stars who've shared the screen with him, such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tom Hanks took to Twitter to pay their respects.
Bill Paxton could play any role, but he was best at being Bill - a great human being with a huge heart. My thoughts are with his family.
