Ever wanted to fly the U.S.S. Enterprise? Well, this rollercoaster thrill ride is going to be the closest you'll get.

Opening at Movie Park Germany, the 'Star Trek: Operation Enterprise' ride finds guests fleeing the Borg after the Enterprise is locked by a tractor beam, as it turns on a half pipe 40 metres in the air to escape. And after the ordeal is over, park guests can spend up big at the Federation Plaza themed area where you'll be able to buy all sorts of weird and wonderful 'Star Trek' merchandise, as well as see some props and other items in a museum area. The ride, which has spent two years in planning and construction, will open in the second quarter of 2017.
