Battlefield 6 recently received its official reveal trailer that showed off much of the single-player campaign and ended with a teaser for a multiplayer reveal at the end of the month. However, prior to the official reveal trailer releasing, a known leaker that accurately predicted the date for the reveal trailer also revealed the price for Battlefield 6.

The leaks came from billbil-kun, a known leaker that has once again proven their track record to be sound when it comes to gaming industry leaks. billbil-kun predicted that Battlefield 6 would be releasing on October 10, and following the official reveal trailer being posted Battlefield Labs updated the website for Battlefield 6 where it states that pre-orders will close for the title on October 10, all but confirming that is when the game will be released.
billbil-kun also leaked that Battlefield 6 would be priced at €79.99 on consoles and €69.99 on PC for the standard edition. While game prices aren't direct conversions in currency, if billbil-kun's leaks are all correct this would mean that Battlefield 6 will be launching for $70 USD, a full priced premium title. Notably, the publisher for Battlefield, Electronic Arts, is aiming to attract 100 million players, and according to reports citing upper management at EA, they believe that it's possible.
It's an interesting strategy to price Battlefield 6 at a premium level and also be aiming for 100 million players, especially when EA has reportedly poured around $400 million into the development of the title, and that is not including advertising for it.
However, reaching that 100 million figure isn't just through sales, but also through the rumored free-to-play Battle-Royale mode, which is reportedly releasing with an attached competitive gamemode. It isn't totally surprising that EA plans to release Battlefield 6 at a premium level as Battlefield 2042 was also released at the $70 mark on current gen consoles.
