The content tests where very small files are read and written to the NAS are always the heartbreaker. Handling small files turns up the transactions and this is where IOPS really comes into play. You really have to choose your drives carefully if you or your office works with these small files, like pictures. Even with solid state drives and a 10GbE connection it's difficult to get better performance than the numbers shown in the chart.
