ADATA to Showcase Latest Industrial-Grade Storage Products and DDR4 Memory at the 2019 China International Industry Fair

Taipei, Taiwan - September12, 2019 - ADATA Technology (Taiwan Stock Exchange: 3260.TWO), a leading manufacturer of high-performance DRAM modules, NAND Flash products, and mobile accessories is pleased to announce that it will be at the 2019 China International Industry Fair (CIIF), China's leading equipment manufacturing event. The event is scheduled to take place from September 17-21, 2019, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.At the show, ADATA will be exhibiting its latest lineup of industrial-grade products geared towards applications such as transportation, defense, and network security. ADATA will be showing of it lineup of solid state drives (SSD), including 2.5", M.2, 2280/2242, and mSATA SSDs. Among them will be the ADATA ISSS3B1 2.5" SSD. The ISSS3B1 comes with capacities ranging from 1TB to 4TB and sports Power Loss Protection (PLP), which safeguards against data loss during unexpected power outages, making them ideal for data centers and servers. In addition, ADATA will showcase a variety of memory cards that are suited for security monitoring systems and other applications, including SD/microSD cards and CFast/CF.

Data Security and Confidentiality

In an era where network security and data confidentiality are evermore important, having the right protective measures is key. As a result, ADATA offers high-capacity solutions with an array of security features, such as Write Protection, which ensures that data is not arbitrarily written, and Quick Erase and Security Erase, which can delete data in a timely manner to reduce the risk of data theft. ADATA's solutions also utilize AES 256-bit and TCG Opal encryption to keep confidential data away from prying eyes. ADATA's 316 SSDs also meet the SM4 standard.

More Capacity, Enhanced Durability

Leveraging its strong R&D and manufacturing capabilities, ADATA offers a plethora of solutions that deliver high capacities and enhanced durability, ideal for security monitoring, facial recognition, and other applications. Among these solutions are SSDs, including SLC, MLC, and 3D TLC, and all offer up to 2TB of capacity. Earlier this summer, ADATA upgraded the endurance rating of its industrial-grade 3D TLC solid state drives to 3K P/E cycles, bringing their endurance, reliability, and stability up to par with 2D MLC SSDs. For even more reliability and improved cost efficiency, ADATA implements its proprietary A+SLC technology. It uses custom NAND Flash firmware with an A+ sorting algorithm to emulate SLC performance on MLC Flash. A+SLC is highly reliable, provides excellent data integrity, and delivers a superb cost/performance balance.

Wide-Temperature Resistance and Anti-Sulfuration Properties

Amid worsening environmental conditions, industrial application and related hardware are poised to face increasing threats, including pollution, moisture, corrosion, and extreme temperatures. ADATA has implemented anti-sulfuration technology for many of its industrial-grade storage products to counter the harmful effects of silver sulfide buildup. The products can also operate optimally in a wide range of temperatures, from -40 C to 85 C. The products undergo sulfuration and reliability testing, which subjects the components to a high-sulfur, high-temperature, and high-humidity environment to confirm their compliance with the ASTM B809-95 specification. What's more, ADATA uses Conformal Coating, a polymer film designed to cover a variety of electronic components on PCBs. It serves as a defensive layer for PCBs, protecting electronic components from liquids, dust, and other contaminants that can cause corrosion or short-circuiting.
