Creators of Burly Men at Sea announce next game

Fayetteville, AR - February 28, 2019 - Brain&Brain, best known for folktale adventure Burly Men at Sea, is excited to announce Wooden Nickel: an upcoming narrative adventure set in a frontier town of the great, remorseless Old West.

In Wooden Nickel, you arrive in town by train on your way elsewhere, local newspaper in hand and a week's aimless wait ahead of you. As you while away the time chasing down the paper's curiosities and absurdities, your days become increasingly woven with those of the people in this land of dust and hard luck.

The game will be exhibited publicly for the first time as part of Double Fine's Day of the Devs showcase at GDC in San Francisco from March 18th-22nd. Conference attendees can play Wooden Nickel at the Day of the Devs space, and the general public can see it live on the big screen at the Day of the Devs event at the Alamo Drafthouse New Mission on Tuesday March 19th at 7:00 PM.
