Issue 6 of indie fanzine Analog is out today, and the content is completely focussed on mental health issues.
Alex Boucher, the creator of the fanzine says, "the majority of features in our previous fanzines seemed to be geared towards mental health, so I wanted to devote an entire issue to this subject."
"I'm really proud of the honest articles that our writers sent in and can't wait to share it with everyone; it may be a difficult read, but it's a valuable insight into how many people struggle with mental health, especially in the games industry"
With issue 1 published back in July 2018, Analog is starting to provide more regular editions, which Alex currently hands out at conferences and via post.
"I really want to scale the brand, as there aren't too many print magazines for game devs these days. The key difference with Analog is the personal side, not just dev tech. I will plan more special issues focussing on one theme, but the contributors are not paid, there are no ads and (at the moment) the fanzine is free."
"We'll have to see if interest grows, but for now I'm happy to share it with my personal contacts and publish it via Issuu. We have launched a website too, so things are starting to come together!"
