Microsoft announces State of Decay 2 hits 3 million players

State of Decay 2 has reached 3 million players according to a Microsoft announcement.

State of Decay 2, the Undead Labs developed title has reached 3 million players, adding on another 1 million players since the last player count announcement on June 5th.

State of Decay 2 was released back in May and since then the zombie survival game has immersed more 3 million gamers. This figure is of course a combination of the Xbox Games Pass and Microsoft Store PC players, which means that the title has not sold exactly 3 million units.

The announcement reads as follows, "In advance of the 4th of July holiday, we are celebrating that the State of Decay 2 community now exceeds three million players." If you want to read the full announcement from Microsoft visit the official website here.
