Back in October last year, Samsung ended the production of the Galaxy Note7 due to faulty batteries.
Samsung is now working on a project to bring the Note 8, and the device is expected sometime this year. However, that doesn't mean that the Note7 is dead just yet...
A new report from South Korea claims that the refurbished Galaxy Note7 might return to the market as early as June this year. According to the report, the Note7 might show up in emerging markets such as Vietnam and India.

The refurbished Note7 will have "a new smaller battery and outer shell," the report says, adding that "other key parts are also likely to be replaced."
According to The Korean Economic Daily's, Samsung is said to be swapping the Note7's 3,500 mAh batteries with "3,000 to 3,200 mAh" batteries.
The report doesn't mention the pricing of the device or would it hit other markets as well.
