TL;DR: Battlefield 6's Early Access Beta starts August 7, unlocked by watching 30 minutes of Twitch streams with Drops enabled. The Open Beta runs August 9-11 and 14-16, offering exclusive in-game skins for up to four hours of viewing. Redeem codes via EA's official site before the full game launch on October 10.

Battlefield 6's huge beta begins on August 7 and you can get into the early access beta and earn yourself some rewards on the way, just by watching streamers play through Twitch Drops.

This means you can play the Battlefield 6 Early Access Beta two days early by just watching at least 30 minutes of Battlefield 6 streams on August 7 and 8, unlocking the Early Access Beta. So, if you missed out on getting yourself a code from the Battlefield 6 reveal event, watching 30 minutes of streams lets you get into the Battlefield 6 Early Access Beta a couple of days early.

The first open beta begins this weekend at 1AM PST on August 9, with the Battlefield 6 Open Beta running through until August 11. The second weekend takes place at 1AM PST August 14, running through until August 16.

If you watch at least four hours of Battlefield 6 during the two Open Beta events, you'll also unlock some in-game skins for the game. These include:

  • Watch for 1 Hour and earn the Mimic Weapons Package
  • Watch for 2 Hours and earn the Landslide Soldier Skin
  • Watch for 3 Hours and earn the Shattered Vehicle Skin
  • Watch for 4 Hours and earn the Imperial Soldier Skin

Whatever drops you secure during the betas won't be playable in the beta of Battlefield 6, you'll have to wait until the full game launches on October 10 to use those skins.

There's also a process required for August 7 so that you're able to get the early access code for the Battlefield 6 beta:

  1. Sign in to your Twitch account.
  2. Link your Twitch account to your EA account
  3. Watch a single streamer participating in the Battlefield 6 Early Access Beta Key Drops for 30 minutes -- if you're having trouble finding one, search for "Battlefield 6" and look for streams that include "Beta Key Drops" or often just "Drops" in their titles.
  4. Once earned, find your beta key access in your Drops Inventory.
  5. Redeem this beta key access code on Battlefield 6's code redemption website.

EA explains the rewards that you can unlock while watching creators stream Battlefield 6's Early Access and Open Beta on Twitch: "The first step in participating is logging into your EA and Twitch accounts and linking them HERE. Then, during Battlefield 6 Open Beta Early Access, August 7th & 8th, tune into your favorite creators streaming Battlefield 6 to unlock your own early access code after watching just 30 minutes.* Once you have your Twitch Drops code, visit Battlefield's Code Redemption page and enter the code to get Early Access added to your account".
