It was only a few days ago that our MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X 11G turned up, and we were pretty blown away with the results - especially at 4K. Well, today is a new day, and it brings us another custom GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card, this time from AORUS.
The new AORUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11G is now in the GPU testing labs here at TweakTown, and while we've only just thrown it into benchmarking mayhem, I thought I'd share some photos of the card.
As you can see, AORUS puts some good work into the packaging for the card - with the backlighting up with details on the GTX 1080 Ti 11G.
But it's the actual card we're all here for, right? The triple-fan WindForce cooling system looks GREAT, but it is absolutely huge.
AORUS pushes the GTX 1080 Ti 11G as a triple-slot graphics card.
You'll need 8+8-pin PCIe power connectors to get the AORUS GTX 1080 Ti 11G up and running.
AORUS has continued using its GPU Backplate, which cools the GPU specifically - while the entire backplate/heat sink cools the rest of the card.
The cooling is large enough that the 5 heat pipes and the fins pop out at the end of the card, where you can see another HDMI 2.0 connector for VR systems.
AORUS provides a DVI connector on its GTX 1080 Ti 11G graphics card, as well as 3 x DP and 2 x HDMI 2.0 (but you can't use the DVI + HDMI2 connector at the same time, as it says on the back of the card).
We will be diving into benchmarking over the next 24 hours, and should have the full review of the new AORUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11G in the next few days.
