An original sealed iPhone has sold at an auction for a staggering amount of money, shattering the previous record for first-edition sealed iPhones.

A first-generation Apple iPhone that originally released in 2007 has been sold at an auction this past Sunday for more than $63,000.

Steve Jobs first revealed the iPhone in 2007, and now an unopened first-generation original Apple iPhone has been auctioned off for nearly $40,000.
