Bethesda is still trying to pump life into Fallout 76, with the developer announcing it plans to test software updates in a newly-announced Public Test Server.
Fallout 76's new PTR will open up its doors sometime in 2020 and will allow the company to play around with updates before they go live, so we don't see more incidents of the entire game breaking when it's updated -- like the recent patch to Fallout 76.
Bethesda hasn't provided any details of what to expect just yet, and will share more details on Fallout 76's new PTR when it has "figured out" some of the issues. Bethesda explained: "A Public Test Server (PTS) is currently in the works with the hope to get it up and running in 2020. Once we've figured out all (or most of) the kinks, we will be able to provide more details on our PTS and how you can participate".
